First Theology

Mount St. Mary's Seminary
College of William and Mary

Although I was born in California and spent a few years each in Indiana and Florida, I have lived in Midlothian most of my life. Raised Catholic, I’m the oldest of three, and before becoming a seminarian, I worked for a paper company in Richmond after graduating from William & Mary in 2017 as a Math and Economics major.

While God has been working patiently for years to make me ready to pursue Him and His call to discern the priesthood more deeply, there are a few key moments that stand out. My involvement with the Catholic Campus Ministry at William & Mary, which was instrumental to my spiritual development and growth as a disciple; my Marian Consecration in 2019, which helped me to surrender myself to God’s will and embrace Mary as my spiritual Mother; and a quote from Balthazar that only priesthood and religious life need to be discerned, since we are made for marriage. I am blown away by the Father’s generosity and love for me and I am excited to grow closer to Him through seminary.
