Tidewater Community College

Hello everyone! I come from Viet Nam, and I am actually an international student studying abroad in the US. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters and most of them still live in Viet Nam except my sister who lives in Texas and the oldest brother lives in Canada. I went to Texas to study for 1 and a half years, graduated from high school, and went to Houston Community College to study for a couple of years of ESOL. I also took some college credits classes before moving to Virginia and transferring to Tidewater Community College in Virginia and have just finished my first 2 years of associate degree in engineering. I majored in Civil Engineering Technology. My hobbies are playing soccer, listening to music, reading, and watching movie.

When I was an altar boy in Vietnam during my childhood, honestly I did not think I wanted to become a priest but I still served the Mass and went to Mass every day.  My mom encouraged me and all of my siblings to go to daily Mass so it would become a good habit for us. When I went to the US to study, during my college years, I felt the call during the time to visit the Blessed Sacrament and I have been thinking about being a priest to serve my Vietnamese community parish. I love Jesus more and more and I want to be his disciple and to celebrate all the sacraments to the community people that are in need. Please continue to pray for my journey and for my brother seminarians in Christ Jesus too! God Bless!
