Being the son of a Navy Commander, my life growing up was full of adventures and new experiences. After moving six times up and down the east coast, my family and I eventually settled down in Williamsburg, VA where I’ve lived most of my life. I love this diocese and I’m proud to be a Virginian through and through.
I was born and raised Catholic, but it really wasn’t until I became actively involved in my high school youth group that I began to know the Lord in deeper way. I went off to Virginia Tech to major in business management, but throughout the years I gradually sensed that God might be calling me to something more. Through prayer, the support of family, friends, the Virginia Tech Newman Community, and God’s providence I was led to apply to the seminary to discern a life of priestly service at Theological College in Washington, DC.
In my spare time I enjoy playing soccer, tennis, and golf; going on hikes; attending concerts and music festivals; playing acoustic guitar and pickin’ the banjo; snowboarding, and exploring the city of Washington.
